All couples and families begin with two or more individuals coming together to create the couple-hood or the family unit. While there is a positive correlation towards couples that come to therapy together staying together according to the statistics, there are times when your partner may not be willing to come into therapy. That being said, when one person in a couple-hood or family make a shift that is permanent, the others in the relationship are forced to adapt at least to some extent. The only other option is for them to leave the relationship. Therefore there is a good rationale to work on self to become the best “you”, you can be.
This is true of team building within the work place as well; there are several individuals that come together to create a unit. Becoming the best “you” you can be, enhances your relationships with everyone; partners, family, friends, co-workers and the like.
I help individuals in several of the following areas:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Spirituality
- Self-esteem
- Communication
- Conflict resolution
- Forgiveness of self and others
There are times when one simply needs a place to rebuild, replenish, grow, mature, and seek tools for life’s challenges. Sometimes people simply need to be able to sit with someone who will not judge them, who is on the outside looking in. Not for the sake of any particular relationship, but simply for themselves. This takes insight and courage for that individual. This is an individual who is ready to grow and wrestle with life for the purpose of growing in wisdom.
